The Madame Jian Ye Yu Feng Scholarship is now open to those who are a 2nd year master’s student at the College of International Studies and Social Sciences of National Taiwan Normal University.
The Madame Jian Ye Yu Feng Scholarship of $15,000 NTD each is available to 2 students (one from the Department of Chinese as a Second Language, one from the other departments/graduate institutes) enrolled in Year 2 of the master degree program at the College of International Studies and Social Sciences, National Taiwan Normal University.
About
Chien Ying-Ying, professor of Chinese as a Second Language, established this scholarship in memory of her late mother Mrs. Jian Ye Yu Feng and to encourage students to pursue academic excellence.
Eligibility
The Madame Jian Ye Yu Feng Scholarship receipients must:
• not have received any scholarship in 2023 Spring semester
• hold an overall GPA above 3.38 in the previous semester
• enrolled in Year 2 of the master degree program at the College of International Studies and Social Sciences, National Taiwan Normal University in 2023 Spring Semester
*Note: Priory consideration would be given to those who are going to publish a thesis, dissertation, or proposal about Women’s and Gender Studies, Cross-Cultural Studies, Inter-Art Studies, Chinese Literature Studies, Chinese Cinema Studies, and Minority Studies.

• Please fill out the application form as well as the self-declaration form and submit the hard copy to the office of the department/graduate institute you enrolled in.
• Each department/graduate institute will assess and evaluate all the applicants and recommend one applicant for further review by the College of International Studies and Social Sciences.
